Join an Arboretum naturalist for a gently-paced and short walk exploring seasonal sights in the ecological communities and gardens of the Arboretum. We will meet at the Arboretum Visitor Center. In case of bad weather (storms), we will cancel the walk.
Join other DSAW caregivers once a month for a book club! We choose a different book each month and get together to discuss. We read a variety of genres (both fiction and nonfiction), and books do not focus specifically on caregiving or parenting.

Join us for a fun, kid-sized 1.5-mile hike along the Ice Age Trail at Emma Carlin Trail Head in Palmyra, collecting non-candy treats from trees along the way! Costumes are encouraged as long as you can comfortably hike in them, and DSAW-SC will provide a parking pass. This event is for individuals with Down syndrome
DSAW hosts a monthly support group for those who are caring for aging loved ones with Down syndrome. Each month we meet to share in conversation and support with other parents, siblings, and caregivers.
Join us for the Halloween Extravaganza at Devil’s Lake for an all-ages, all-abilities afternoon of spooky family fun! Enjoy pumpkin carving, crafts, a torchlit hike, campfire and s’mores, a costume parade, and a visit with Monty the Mammoth from the Ice Age Trail! Join other grandparents who have grandchildren with Down syndrome for conversation and community. This group is led by volunteer grandparents and meets in a hybrid format. They meet in person at the SE-WI DSAW office in Wauwatosa on the first Tuesday of each month from 4:00-5:00 or you can join virtually!
